A few weeks late but still had to share...

I'm 30 and had a GREAT GREAT week of celebration! It's been almost 3 weeks but I couldn't let this year go by without a run down of events. It was a milestone birthday and all!

My surgery went better than expected and I spent March 12th, my 30th birthday, at home, relaxing with the people I love the most. Jesse 'cooked' us a delicious dinner of Chicken Parm from Pasta Villa and he and the girls bought me the most wonderful vanilla cake. My mother came over with yet another mouth watering Carvel's Ice Cream cake and I ate so much of both I think I gained the 5lbs. back that I just lost. I had a fabulous day.

Friday morning Jesse's mom flew in from Florida to help with the girls and for Gianna's party on Sunday. It also happened to be Jesse's step mother, Laurie's, birthday. After dinner we headed to his dad's for cake.

Saturday night was my 'birthday dinner' night with just Jesse since I was a little hung up on Wednesday. I had NO idea where we were going but we left the house just after 6:45pm and drove to the Northside Inn in East Rochester. We pulled into the parking lot and I happened to notice my truck(who else has a brand new 2008 Black Limited Explorer with dealer plates still on it??). Somethings a little fishy but it's cool, maybe Jesse's mom and the girls are meeting us for dinner. The hostess walks us back to the far room in the restaruant and as I walk in I was so surprised to see many of my family and friends as they proceed to sing "Happy Birthday" to me. I was so shocked I didn't know what to do! Of course I didn't have the 'right' camera stuff to take pictures so I stole these from my mom.

Jesse also surprised me with my FAVORITE cake ever from Gruttadaria's Bakery, a deLICous carrot cake.

My mother in law had these adorable invitations made and framed one as my place holder at the table.

Balloons, flowers, family, friends and a room full of laughter. Best birthday ever!!
